UNUSED VINTAGE
Yes unused vintage. Yes we mean it has never been used. No it’s not used and then we refurbish it.
IT IS UNUSED!
Kings of Past is a leading purveyor of original, unused, branded vintage eyewear from Iconic labels such as Alain Mikli, Cazal, Christian Dior, Dunhill, Emmanuelle Khanh, Persol, Rayban and Versace. The principals of Kings of Past, Musadik Rajani and Tony Trichilo, have spent their entire lives in the eyewear industry and developed a passion for collecting rare vintage pieces which lead to the development of the current company. It takes a life-time of dedication and knowledge to source eyewear that is over 30 years old but still brand new. Each frame is carefully selected and undergoes a rigorous quality inspection process to ensure the integrity of the material, hinges, lenses and alignment.
Here some of my favorite frames for this summer
NEOSTYLE
This brand was sort of made famous because Elvis used to wear Neostyle. It was also made in the 80’s
EURO VINTAGE
Handmade in France in the early 60’s.
OLIVER
This brand has as it’s lineage the House of Valentino. You can notice on the frame the same branded V for Valentino and was made in the 80’s as well.
GOLD AND WOOD
These frames used to sell for around $1000 per frame and is made from genuine wood and the front of the frame is embedded with real silk so that no 2 frames in this collection are exactly the same. Each are unique. Made in the 90’s
MOVADO
A watch company that was made by Carrera and also has the rights to Boeing and Porsche Design. This frame was made in the early 90’s.
NEOSTYLE
This brand was sort of made famous because Elvis used to wear Neostyle. It was also made in the 80’s
AVUS
on the frame is marked Made in West Germany. West Germany only existed from 1949-1990 so you know they’re rare vintage pieces. This particular frame was probably made in the 80’s. Avus is named after a road in Germany that was used for racing.
