The WOWS are a five soldiers rock army, they write and play their own music since 2008. Their music it’s a flow of rock energy and emotions, you can feel the influence of great bands like Arctic Monkeys and Radiohead but also Queens of the Stone Age and Nine Inch Nails. Lyrics are about dreams, feelings and inner trips both in darkness and in deep light. You can dowload from the website their first EP called Model Soldiers, produced by Giorgio Pona Gigi Piscitelli and Rob McVey, recorded in London. The EP takes name from the first single “Model Soldiers” and contains 3 songs from the forthcoming debut album War on Wall Street.
Rolling Stone Magazine Italia took the exclusive on the first video, Model Soldiers filmed by Romanzo Prod, October 2012, saying that it’s a new and original kind of rock with international influences.
These guys are a powerful live band, they shared the stage with artists like Motel Connection, Kissogram, La Fame di Camilla, Bloody Beetroots, and many others. L’Arena, a local newspaper, wrote many articles on them, spreading the WOWS to the city. Then to the other cities like Brescia where they had some gigs at Lattepiù and LioBar.
